Hello PB Dems - We hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. Please mark your calendars for our first ever Zoom Club meeting! Here are the details: Date: Thursday, May 7th, 2020 Time: 6:00 pm (please join a few minutes early so that we can get started on time) Location: A Zoom meeting invite will be sent out next week via email. You will be instructed to register for the meeting to receive the link to our meeting room. Keep an eye out for next week’s email with the link. Please note - you can also dial in from your phone.

Our featured speaker for May’s Zoom meeting is Assemblymember and SD City Mayoral candidate Todd Gloria. Asm. Gloria will speak on San Diego/California’s response to COVID-19, about his campaign for Mayor, and about his plans for the City once elected into office. As our endorsed candidate, we’ll also discuss how we can assist the Todd Gloria for Mayor campaign as a Club. There will be time for Q&A as well.
We will also have club member Jordan Beane on to speak about the City’s new Slow Streets initiative, which went live on Diamond St. in PB on April 30. Your membership with the club makes sure that you are directly linked to all of the exciting, important, and critical work your fellow members and sister organizations are doing at the local, county, state, and national level to promote Democratic values and principles.
