Holiday Beach Bonfire and Elections

Can you believe it's December already? Time for our annual end of the year holiday party! We're trying something new this year: a bonfire on Mission Bay! Please RSVP here to help us with our planning! (Click here for link) When: Saturday, December 11th, 4pm - 6pm (or whenever!)

• Club officer voting will occur at 4:30! If you can only make it part of the time, please try to be there at 4:30 for the voting. If you are a voting member and unable to make it to the holiday party but would still like to vote, please email the club.

• The Mission Bay Boat Parade will be starting at 6 pm, and some of us (at least Jessie and Travis) plan to stick around for a while and enjoy it. You are welcome to join us!

Where: On Mission Bay, on the sand near Fanuel Park. If you plan to drive, you can navigate to Fanuel Park and park either in the parking lot, or in the surrounding neighborhoods. What to bring: PBDC will be providing the bonfire supplies, pizza, and hot drinks in the form of coffee, cider, and hot chocolate. Bring warm clothing, a lawn/picnic chair, a blanket, a reusable cup, and cookies or a dessert to share if you'd like!

• AND don't forget your giving spirit! PBDC is encouraging attendees to donate to Shoreline Community Services if you are able. That can be done through their Amazon Wish List or monetary donations via Pay Pal! We will also have printed QR codes to both of these links to make it easy to donate at the event.

Your membership with the club makes sure that you are directly linked to all of the exciting, important, and critical work your fellow members and sister organizations are doing at the local, county, state, and national level to promote Democratic values and principles. Join or renew your membership today. Email us if you have any questions. *Please note - if you want to be eligible to vote on endorsements and Club actions, you need to be a member in good standing. This means paying your dues and having attended 2 meetings in the past 16 months!* Dues are collected at the beginning of each calendar year.
