SAN DIEGO CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT 2 AND SCHOOL BOARD DISTRICT C



THE PACIFIC BEACH, LA JOLLA, AND POINT LOMA DEMOCRATIC CLUBS MEMBERS ARE COMING TOGETHER TO HEAR FROM CANDIDATES!

Josh Coyne, Nicole Crosby & Mandy Havlik Will be Participating in a Joint Forum. James Carter and Hayden Gore Have Also Been Invited to Address Our Members


 

The Pacific Beach, La Jolla and Point Loma Democratic Clubs are coming together to lean about the candidates for the School Board, District C and the San Diego City Council, District 2. School Board candidates will have the opportunity to provide statements. The City Council candidates will respond to questions asked by each club. Don't miss your opportunity to hear from the candidates directly!

  • When:  5:45 Check-In;  6:00 P.M. Call to Order


In Person Questions for the City Council Candidates:  Send a question you would like asked at the forum in advance via email to increase the chances that it will be asked!

SCHOOL BOARD, DISTRICT C CANDIDATE ENDORSEMENT VOTE

 

James Carter and Hayden Gore have been invited to provide in-person statements at the Joint Candidate Forum meeting.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS 

While proxy voting is not permitted by the PBDC Bylaws, absentee ballots are accepted via email. If you are not able to attend, but would like to vote in the School Board, District C or San Diego City Council, District 2 endorsement votes, please reply to this email no later than 13 January 2026 at noon PST

 If you are a voting member in good standing and would like to vote via absentee ballot in one or both endorsements on calendar for 13 January 2026, you may reply to this email with the following information:

Please note: Emailed ballots must be received no later than 12:00  noon on 13 January 2026 in order to be counted. Remember that we must have a physical quorum. As such, please attend in person if you are able to ensure that a quorum is reached.
