Paloma Aguirre
for County Supervisor!
Aida Castaneda, the Campaign Manager for Paloma Aguirre's campaign, will speak to us about the critical District 1 race for County Supervisor

We’ve been here before—a strong Democrat, strong values, and just enough establishment complacency to lose it all.
In the March primary, John McCann finished first with a full 10-point lead over Paloma. And the general election fundamentals? They look brutal:
Outside groups poured over $1 million into this race to boost McCann and attack Paloma.
Meanwhile, they spent only $31,812 attacking McCann’s MAGA record.
If Democratic voters who supported other candidates in March don’t turn out this July, we lose.
If we lose this seat, Republicans flip the County Board and take control of decisions on climate, healthcare, renter protections, public safety, and affordable housing.
But we can win —and when we do, we don’t just defend what we’ve built, we keep delivering for our communities.

Come to our June 5th Club meeting to make your own political protest poster! The Club will provide the materials, but feel free to bring your own supplemental supplies (stencils, stickers, etc.)
The Pacific Beach Democratic Club is partnering with Take Action San Diego in support of the No Kings march and protest. Organized by the same coalition that put together the April 5 “Hands Off” event, our goal is to bring 50,000 San Diegans together in a show of unity and strength in support of our democracy, and in opposition to the authoritarian MAGA regime.Members will be using public transportation, carpooling or meeting up at Waterfront Park. Let us know if you would like to join the group!
