We are excited to announce a packed meeting on October 6th, which will be our last meeting before election day in November! We will be hearing from Assemblymember Chris Ward, the League of Women Voters of San Diego on the propositions appearing on November's ballot, and last but not least voting on whether PBDC will join the ReWild Mission Bay coalition!

October Meeting Highlights:
78th District and Sacramento Update from Asm. Ward - Former City Councilmember, current Assemblymember, and longtime club member Chris Ward will be joining us to talk about issues affecting the district and Sacramento!
"Ballot Talk" with the League of Women Voters of San Diego - Examine the pros and cons of both the California and San Diego ballot measures with the LWV-SD! Sheila Tolle will walk us through local ballot measures on everything from trash collection to statewide ballot measures on reproductive freedom.
Vote to join the ReWild Coalition - We heard from ReWild Mission Bay's director, Andrew Meyer, in September. As announced at that meeting, we will vote in October on whether PBDC will officially join the ReWild Coalition! If you are unsure if you are a member in good standing (dues paid and attendance of 2 meetings in the past 16 months), please reach out and ask!
Club Announcements:
Candidate donations! - The E-Board is excited to announce that PBDC will be making donations of $250 each to the campaigns of Rebecca Kanter for Judge and Cody Petterson for School Board!
2022 PBDC Holiday Bonfire - Mark Saturday, December 10th from 4-6 pm off on your calendars! Stay tuned for the exact location and more details (and yes, it's right before the Parade of Lights again)!
