Pacific Beach Democratic Club General Meeting Announcement

We don't need to remind you all at this point, but it's time to keep reminding our community to SAY NO TO THE REPUBLICAN RECALL!

Following up from our July meeting, we have a few speakers lined up to discuss the ongoing anti-recall effort as well as to reiterate what's at stake on September 14th. As a reminder, there are ongoing action opportunities listed below as well that we will go over during the meeting.

September Meeting Highlights:

1. Andrea Duran Aydoğan, Director of Operations for the SD County Democratic Party, will dive into the party's current drive to increase voter turnout and answers questions about how we can all get involved.

2. Following up on Christian Stevens' talk on policy and COVID19 from last year, E-Board member Travis Beckman will speak to what issues are most at stake in this recall election, from public health mandates related to COVID19 to political appointments.

3. A raffle opportunity to win gift cards to local favorites based on quick actions you can take to ensure your friends and family vote No on the Recall!

2. Join the SD County Democratic Party for door hanger drops, a phone bank, or text bank over the next two weeks! Go to https://www.mobilize.us/sandiegodems/ to sign up!

3. Volunteer to sign up as a "hub" for a SDCDP "Day of Action" by reaching out to local GOTV leader and E-Board member Dina Feldman-Scarr! Email dinafs2@icloud.com for more information.
